    ... a mystery monastery which included going down a very steep hill, which only resulted in us turning around and going straight back up that hill in the lowest gear possible. Wrong. Annie was apologetic (as she was running with the GPS) for the slight deviation from plan but Rob couldn't even raise one swear word as he wasn't breathing for the next 5 minutes.     ... night was overlooking it. We walked around for a little bit, looking at the buildings, but the weather got as cold as it had been, so we headed indoors and found a nice little restaurant for dinner for chicken schnitzel and steaks, and thought we'd pick up dessert on the way home at Tesco, which ended up being half a litre of chocolate brownie ice cream which was completely consumed in the space of 15 minutes in our room. ...

As it went around the table Olga and Steve were the last to order.Olga was born in the Czech Republic and although she had not used the language for 30 years, it had quickly come back to her. She ask the waitress if she spoke Czech and she did. So Olga's and Steve's orders were much easier to place. We all sat there dumbfounded that Olga had waited for her turn to order before asking the question.

    I bullied Jess into another early start, partially because the hostel warned that if we didn't arrive by 6pm they give the beds away to others. Apparently during summer there are always people who wander in looking for a room.
