    ... later, following a beer at a restaurant built into the original wall surrounding the city, we said goodbye. Pretty good value for an hour’s payment. The Czech restaurant owner asked where we were from and asked us if we liked Albury-Wadonga and Dubbo (we told him that nobody in Australia did). Apparently he has been to Australia 3 times and visited some pretty unusual places!

    Another day in the bus travelling to the Czech Repbulic. We went the long way due to roadworks, leaving at 8am & arriving at nearly 8pm!     ... were delicious. In Cesky Krumlov Nick also found €1 pints of beer. Extremely "affordable" aka cheap. The price of the beer is so affordable because they brew it in Cesky. So off to the brewery we went with Braddon in toe. This brewery was like none I had ever seen. It was old, dingy, with no health and safety. It looked like the dungeon scene from Hostel (the movie). For example, the children in the paintings on the walls have adult faces because it was believed that if you painted a child with a child's face, then they would have childish faces all their lives! There is a painting of a woman on one of the walls who is rumoured to be a ghost.
