    ... and that I wanted an Austrian scene. She had some that were little ceramic ones hand painted by a local. Purchased one for €68. We were in the town square at 3pm and bells seemed to chime from all around for a good 5 mins - amazing!     Cesky Krumlov was worth the trip. A quaint 800 year old medieval town overlooked by a monumental castle and intersected by the swift flowing Vltava river. The sort of place that would have been fantastic on a warm summer day with a picnic lunch by the river - however, a picturesque stop with little restaurants serving up specialties like braised boars ears or pickled tongue!!

    ... in our group did a tasting (two pints!) and were a little done in before lunch. After lunch most of our group did a rafting trip, but we decided to walk around town and do some shopping. Later we met up with Claire, Tamara, and Varsha for a feast at a local restaurant. Yesterday when we arrived in town we did and hour bike ride through the forest and back into town.
