I pulled up a chair and just sat there with Jordan looking out the window. There was nothing much outside the window but it was still just relaxing to sit there. We then got freshened up and went out for our first French dinner which we were all so excited about but a bit disappointed when we walked through an ...

That evening we explored Nice a bit more and spent some time at the Promenade du Paillon (a large water feature), amused by all the different variations it was creating. Nice certainly is gorgeous in the evening with such a great atmosphere and buzz in the air.

It really is nice in Nice!

Walked around an old Fort from the 1500,s. and through and along a track winding around the mountain. Took 101 photos and just enjoyed the spectacular scenery. We even visited places Lionel had never been to before so he also enjoyed discovering different areas.

... like a train. It had a non-functioning fireplace and a cute little table and chairs. Very comfortable. We set out for dinner around 6:30 but most dinner places didn't open until 7 pm. Giles highly recommended a crepe place but when we got there they were not ready for dinner so we walked around the shops. Very overpriced but this was the French Riviera after all. Had a group of young men following us around for a while offering to buy us things but ...

Venetian lands. Cannot describe the excitement! Flying out at 6.00pm,
arriving at Venice 7.05pm. We arrive in the Mestre so we will have to

the station so that should be good!Got to nice station just after 10.
