We stopped at the port of Corfu. The only way to really get around the island is to take an excursion. At least it was for us. We were going to see a Monastery in the village of Palaiokastritsa and to the village of Gastouri to visit the 19th century Achilleion Palace.
The places were very beautiful and again the excursions didn't disappoint ...

We wandered in to the travel agent after receiving some advice from our Albanian bar attendant hoping to secure a ticket from Athens (Greece) to Sarande (Albania). We approached the counter with a spring in our step, a twinkle in our eye and 'sucker' written all over our faces. 'We would like 2 tickets to Sarande please,' we asked gleefully. I woke up the next day feeling surprisingly fresh! My record at never failing to lose at Looping Louie was still intact, but I did have to sit out a couple of games to allow the guests to play, such a shame!
