      11/11 Corfu

We left the ship late and spent some time using the Port's free wifi. We were heading to the bus stop to take a bus into town when we ran into an enterprising taxi driver. He was waiting at the bus stop instead of in the line of taxis looking for €100 fares to tour the island. He offered us a €10 trip to the historic district and the same back. We found ...

Thu 9th: Passed over the Greek/Albanian border to the 'resort' town of Sarande through pretty rough roads and mountain pass. After a slow start at the hotel, we went out to explore – the beach and the tourist port and town. We were amazed at how quiet our hotel and many of the others ...

... Whilst having another beautiful old walled town, it has effectively been swallowed by shopping malls and development leading right to the beachfront. Swarming with eastern European tourists and some lovely super yachts we left soon after. We had heard of a mausoleum on the hills surrounding the Bay of Kotor that sounded interesting. Driving through the winding, single lane roads of Lovcen National Park we made it to Njegos Mausoleum, located on the top ...
