Friday 3rd Sept Nurburgring We just couldn't leave here without Garry experiencing this famous track driving at the speeds it caters to. So this morning Garry did a lap with a professional driver in a a GT3 Porsche . He explains it as being 'exhilarating ,breathtaking,just ****** awesome' They reached speeds up to 260kmph ...

... now having a feel for the car and track he said was heaps more fun even though there were few crashes to avoid.He took Go-Pro footage ,but I don't gave many pics as I couldn't see him on the track from where I was waiting . Rest assured he will be happy to share his track time when he gets home and to sum it all up he said it was 'SO MUCH FUN' ����� ;� and there is no shame being blown off by Audi ...

... of dinner and found the hotel restaurant, they had an ala carte buffet on offer which looked really good ,I even spied some fresh vegetables - corn and broccoli ! Dinner was wonderful ( the beef goulash soup was superb as was the citrus mousse roll ) although Garry kept skipping out to the terrace to watch the cars go around the track ,his mind was not on the food.I hope tomorrow lives up to his expectations . Weather looks fine but cool for tomorrow ...
