We also found a shop we had gone in last time that had official German "stuff" and I found the candle merry-go-round thingy mother had...I wanted to get one for our family tradition. Steffie and I went for a bit of a walk back past the Hauptbahnhof to the Popplesdorfer Schloss which is now occupied by the university. Unfortunately it was closed as well as the gardens so we couldn’t take a closer look. There are quite a few really nice houses in this area and you can tell that it is the rich end of Bonn.
