We had another great stay at this castle hotel. The room was lovely, but the mattress was a little hard. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious. I had steak with a white bean fennel purée.thor had lamb. The desert was creme brûlée with a raspberry sauce.

Waking to blue skies and a view over town
from our private balcony, we prepared for breakfast and headed down to a feast
of cereals, toast, every type of ham and exotic cheese you could imagine. We
filled ourselves enough to last until dinner time, sitting out in the hotel’s
deck garden surrounded by petunias, an olive and lemon tree.
