... The architecture in this part of Chile is so different to the north. Timber and iron as opposed to Adobe bricks. It's a real mix of European architecture. Yet more dogs , even one in a phone box. Coffee time at cafe Mawen.Tomorrow we go white water rafting. Bring it on!

Caught the 8am bus for the first part of our long journey which would retrace all our steps from the previous week. The first part took us from Esquel north to Bariloche. The next day, 8 May 2014, Dad and Sibby left me in Buenos Aires for their long journey back home. I checked into a hostel and resumed my status as impoverished backpacker and solo traveller. Very sad that yet another good family holiday has come to an end.
