    Day sightseeing in Bologna

A travel blog entry by tonyjules on Feb 23, 2015

Morning started with the MOST delicious breakfast ever. Biggest choice of breakfast goodies ever. We could even had a glass of Prosecco. What more could we ask?? Delightful hotel and really good value. Then off we went to climb up the 90 metre leaning tower. We have included photos to prove that we got to the very top. Interesting construction. The walls must be about 7-8 foot thick at the ...

On the motorway towards Venice we climbed until ...

... went off to explore what the hotel had to offer and ended up in the gym where they had a competition of who could run the furtherest on the running machine and then walk the furtherest on the air swing. This kept them busy for a good hour and half while Nathan took the opportunity to go for a well overdue run, which was unique in that he had to continually jump over or step ...

Great town. It is my favourite Italian town so far. The others prefer Florence to Bologna but not me. I like the wide streets and bigger shops. The people are very chic and stylish and very friendly. They love their dogs and there are plenty of dogs of all types and sizes wandering around. Surprisingly, not that much doggy dos. Either the Bog Dogs are constipated or there is a doggy do fairy running around with a bag because I don't see many ...
