Had a late start to the day today and for a change instead of going down the hill we went up the mountain. Up to the site of an active volcano. It started to rain half way up so had to hire umbrellas so we could walk over to the edge. A couple of quick photos and we were off for lunch. The rain became quite heavy and ...
... down for Gado Gado, a great dish of vegetables covered in satay sauce. I kept an eye for the party, at the moment it looked like my choice was either head to bed or listen to the locals murder Karaoke. I didn't do either. Instead I headed over too Braga Street. Braga street in the past has had a reputation for seedy bars, ladies of the night and a very big party scene. I figured if the party is anyway its there. At 10pm it wasn't.....
... classics, the crowd was given 1 of 8 different simple angklungs and with some simple instruction and two people doing hand directions, the whole crowd did about 4 different songs. At the very end there was a massive audience invited dance on the stage. I was picked by one of the kids as one of hte last picked- I must have been intimidating :P
After the preformance, we slept and got ready for the bus ride to Pangandaran, the home town of our guide Maman.
... the moisture in the air into water so we can empty it out later. Apparently they can last for months....which I think means it works very slowly.

So here's hoping that we can get this Fred kicked out so Cass 'n Kyle can settle back into domestic bliss!
The Bandung Zoo!
Kyle and I had passed by the zoo a few times during our adventures around Bandung, but having Banks to come along with us was a great excuse to actually go out. Alice was thankfully back from her own smaller holiday to the coast, and would be able to adventure through it with us...I can't remember if she’d been there prior.
