The rest of our time in Arbatax

... ladies, who while they didn't speak English, did very well at communicating with us. It's pretty amazing what can be accomplished with hand gestures and a few words. I filled out a form they had for me in English, and then they copied what I wrote in the spaces from the English form to the Italian form so they could read it. Luckily things had started to move forward, and I've also heard back from my own bank where a formal investigation has been launched. Things are ...

    Massages, Swimming & Bank Issues

    ... gave it a perk.

We spent our evening sitting by the main pool again and listening to the music. Every night they play music by the pool and it's the same rotation of European/Italian songs which EVERYONE loves and knows the choreographed dance to with English songs mixed in. The DJ also loves Bruno Mars and did a lot of singing over the music, which he butchered every time.

Banking issues aside, it was a pretty good day :)

Our first full day in Arbatax

Our last activity of the day before we hit the hay was a late night swim in the tropical pool across from our room. It was set up to look more like a beach and we thought for sure we would get kicked out, but we didn't. Eventually we went back to the room and crashed for the night - it's hard work being in the sun all day!

... there was no way to look them up and there was no finding free wifi because all the businesses in the port were closed. So, we did the only thing we could go and just walked with our luggage in tow. Eventually we came across a cafe that was open and I recognized a lot of people from our cruise. Brittany waited by the road guarding our luggage while I went in to ask directions.

One thing I'm not sure if I mentioned or not is that Rome was ...

... given so far, but Arbatax is small and isn't a lot to see...Its actually in the middle of nowhere unless you have a car...which I did not. So for the next week I spent a majority of my time trying foods, watching sunsets, tanning, beginning this blog, and putting a lot of sleep time in for I knowingly won't get much over the coming weeks. Food was probably my favourite part of this trip, the staff at Arbataser hotel even though my Italian is well...I don't ...
