Mivel az október 3-i San Francisco látogatásunkat már ügyesen integráltuk a szeptember 28-i eseményekkel, ugorjunk gyorsan október 4-ére. Amúgy is régóta várjuk ezt a napot, hiszen az Alcatraz-ba nem lehet csak úgy beesni. Azt bizony ki kell érdemelni…

Sajnos azonban hiába minden igyekezetünk, a 'Szikla' területe szintén nemzeti …

... it back to our hotel by about 9:30. The last thing the kids did tonight was ride the carousel. I was interested to see a young couple get on and ride whilst their wedding photographer took pictures. They had just gotten married. So they will have a little Tilda and a little Darcy in their wedding album. Last day here tomorrow and we think we're going to go around on one of those hop on and off buses and see some things we haven't gotten around to ...

... impressed with the lack of garbage. It seemed very well maintained and we could have spent a lot more time there exploring different areas. We drove home through Berkeley where we stopped at the much-anticipated Rare Barrel, a brewery specializing in sour beers. This part of the blog would be much lengthier if Husb were writing it, but I'll just sum it up by saying it was a really cool brewery in an industrial building. It was very hip, with clean surfaces ...
