San Francisco mit Flower-Power-Wetter
Was für ein Wetterchen zum Abschluss :o) 20 °C und strahlender Sonnenschein... Das hat noch einmal richtig gut getan an diesem letzten Urlaubstag. Es war zwar auch noch mal ziemlich anstrengend, aber ich denke, wir haben das Beste aus diesen wenigen Stunden San Francisco herausgeholt.
Früh um 8 ging es mit dem Shuttle zur Metro und dann mit der Metro fast bis zum Pier 1. Zur Erklärung: die gesamte Ost- und Nordostseite der Innenstadt ...

Leider mussten wir uns irgendwann zum Gehen wenden, da noch über 100 Meilen zu fahren waren. Die haben wir dann trotz wieder zunehmender Spurenanzahl und Verkehr auf dem Freeway unbeschadet überstanden (vor allem auch das Auto :o)) und waren gegen halb 6 im Hotel in San Bruno (etwas südlich von San Francisco). Das Auto haben wir dann schon abgegeben, da wir morgen sowieso nur mit der Bahn in die Innenstadt fahren.
Also denn: einen schönen zweiten Advent :o)))

... This is a truly amazing city and has a great feel about it. We drove through China Town, which did not impress me at all as there is a China Town everywhere in the world and they are all the same. Full of Chinese and full of ****! We didn't stop here apart from me jumping out to use the ATM. OMG, the bloody Americans rip you off (sorry my lovely family & friends), however, why do I get charged for taking money out of the bank ...
