... a solid hand shake,and "G’day mate". We drank quite a few beers that night and if the shark wanted me the next day he could have tracked me from the smell and taste of Bintang leaking from my pores into the surf. Ottie and Lytton stayed for three days and it was great to see some friends from home. We made some basic plans to spend NYE with them if they decided to hang around for that long and said our farewells.

... mit nach Deutschland kommen will aber leider morgen zur Schule muss aber im Januar könnte er kommen. Er ließ sich auch nicht von den kalten Temperaturen abschrecken.

Katie hält jetzt dort die Stellung und kümmert sich um alles. Auch um unsere Wäsche, die wir heute nicht abholen konnten, da die Wäscherei eine Zeremonie hatte und der Laden samt Haus total verrammelt war. Und das ohne Vorwarnung!!

... viel Spaß gehabt-allerdings werden wir nicht mehr so viele Sachen zum Aufpusten mitnehmen. Es ist ersten kein Spaß immer angenuckelte Stöpsel im Mund zu haben und es geht tierisch auf die Lungen. Man kann dort aufgepumpte Autoreifenschläuche mieten - das ist viel einfacher.

Auf der Tour in den Süden konnten Conny und Ingo endlich mal ein paar Highlights sehen bevor wir im strömenden Regen in Nusa Dua im Hotel landeten. Unser Abschiedsessen viel kurz aus, denn die ...

I’m chuckling to myself as I write this at the thought of me singing "I’m forever blowing bubbles" outside Jakarta airport, this morning, with a Chinese guy who got out of a cab next to me wearing a West Ham football club replica shirt… unfortunately this was the only English he knew………..up the Hammers…….
