... that fresh that they don't offer flavours like mango as it is too cold to make this flavour. So you had a fair few flavours to taste and try and when you decided which one you liked you picked an empty bottle (there were different styles to choose from) and get the flavour you wanted and fill the bottle. They had absinthe there with wormwood in it!! Some people were brave enough to get it. Jordan and I stuck with a lemon and coffee flavour. After that it ...

... rail up to the mountains, all open according to the web this morning. Well it's a grey old Munich morning right now, clear though. Yesterday we took the subway out to the BMW museum, which was set up in two parts, the modern show area and a museum for older BMW interest such as early war engines etc. Suffice to say I was allowed one but not 2, so the new area it was. As it turned out this was good, but only because I was a Mini owner back in ...

Garmisch Few train trips now and that is main reason for such little posting. Today we are in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the Southern Alps. It is not too far from Munich and we can do an about trip in a day. This year the snow is light compared to previous visits. Yesterday I got to do my long awaited visit to the German Museum in Munich, last trip I was hamstrung by females who do not see the merit ...

... come alive with these ancient structures - they are living, breathing and are now integrated into our modern world. It really is magic. The Catholic Church's presence in this city was another slice of magic. As you know I have no religious ties but I could not keep away from the beautiful churches which were around every bend. It was like walking into a free museum every 5mins...and then there was the Vatican. My fellow Roman tourists were also very friendly. ...

... and many of the attractions are low priced at around €4. I would only recommend the Innsbruck card if you are going to be in Innsbruck for 72 hours or if you want to see the more highly-priced attractions such as the Ski Jump and the Imperial Palace.

There is a lot to see in Innsbruck, but it is also a beautiful city which you can wander around for hours. It's a truly magical place with many hidden wonders and a real charm about it. Well worth a visit!
