... the course of a few hours on Friday morning the whole town was transformed into the snow village we had imagine. We played in it like kids, having snow ball fights, stomping in the high piles, holding our hands out to see how many snow flakes we could catch and attempting to make a snowman. It was magical to
watch the town transform into a village that was now unrecognisable, beautiful.
Today Dan and I had our very first ski lesson and learnt to ski. As per usual Dan was a pro and I fell **** over head first go haha. Good to see that not much has changed in the last 12 months.
We got picked up by the ski school's car and taken to the ski rental school where we got kitted out in ski boots, skis, poles and pants. We decided our down jackets would suffice and sunglasses would prevent the snow for getting into eyes. Note to self the poles ...
... snow village we imagined we would get to see. It's just beautiful.

... tree I had bought yesterday. Our very first fresh Christmas tree as a family! We had Austrian Beer and Argentinian wine to drink and fresh cheeses, bread, pretzels and cured meats for our Christmas dinner. We enjoyed a few drinks in the bar around the fire before calling it a night.

Merry Christmas all x ...
Before arriving in Innsbruck I did a little research online and found out that it was the most dangerous airport in Europe and one of the most dangerous in the world! As a nervous flier this wasn't the most comforting of news! However, whilst being dangerous to land at due to the 8000ft mountains and short runway, it is without a doubt the most stunning approach I have ever witnessed! I would recommend visiting Innsbruck just for the incredible view from the plane!
