... adrenalin from an epic last run. Billy even mumbled that the day up Mt Titlis was better than the Tottenham Hotspurs game. The whole day was a day which will be hard to forget, one of the best. The night was slow and finished off on a sheepskin with a glass of Pinot noir whilst Billy and Ben found themselves recovering in front of the Xbox. Off to Florence tomorrow, via Pisa. Will eat my weight in pizza and pasta until then Switzerland we'll be back... C & W ...

heart was going like a steam pump. High altitude and lack of food hade certainly
taken its toll on me!!
After scoffing my food I headed back to the hotel and simply sat down and
relaxed under the mountains. Again it had been a mighty long day and I was
certainly looking forward to a good nights sleep.
Tomorrows plan is to head up to the peak of yet another high peak so lets
just hope the altitude does not have any bad effects on me this ...

Marianne is returning today so we spent morning cleaning up the house and doing some preliminary packing and weighing getting things ready to head home.

My hotel was right near the train station which was handy, very basic but anything more than that costs an absolute bomb in Zurich, it is a very expensive place to visit, thankfully it's just a whistlestop on my way to Lake Como. There is a designated tourist walk that takes you around the old and new town. The old town is full of beautiful cobbled streets, lovely 3 and 4 ...
