A postcard perfect day today in Innsbruck which has been home to two winter Olympics. Clear blue skies with only the trails from planes making lines on this beautiful canvas above the snow capped mountains. We started with a visit to the Swarovski shop where the girls both made purchases. Then off to buy a new charger for all our devices which was an interesting exercise. Victorinox,knives, Nespresso shop, wooden toys, Ravensburger games for the kids. Chococlate!! Yay!!! Shopping is such a treat when in a different country.

The day, though grey and drizzly was lovely and we enjoyed ourselves fully. We managed to get back to Lungern at quite a decent hour, allowing the kids time to play in the park before heading back home for dinner.

... br> Fortunately, we did get to see some of Switzerland, because it is spectacular. The mountains are so steep and craggy. Massive waterfalls plummet probably thousands of feet. The mountains just shoot up nearly vertical from the valleys so the waterfalls have a long way to fall. Beautiful!
