... we have wandered into, colour and light abounds, really topped off the day. ... of Champagne-Ardenne. As we were driving through this part of France we hadn't seen any grapes and I thought it would be pretty hilarious to be in the Champagne region and not see any vineyards, lucky we went to Verzy! Next to Verzy is the village of Verzenay. Verzenay is very quiet, surrounded by fields of grapevines and home to many wine caves. ... the sidewalk in front of her home. What stood out was that she was not just sweeping right in front of her steps, but all along the property, which was quite large by European standards. ... 7 we went. I danced with and met a few cute German boys but the language barrier was difficult in the loud club. We left the club at 3ish and walked home. Our appartment is in a semi-sketchy area, so thank goodness Alfonso was with me (this worries me about other cities, I hope I am always staying in decent parts).
