Great hotel located in the town square, there is at least 50 restaurants within the square. The hotel itself is restored beautifully with good a/c and modern bathrooms. Double windows overlook the town square.

... sound but this is Tuesday night Poznan-about 25 only. This felt super small in the massive space. The gig involved four acts, DG ambient set to star by one of the organisers Carolina, then local act-a political punk rock duo (vocal and bass) from-Siksa. Amazing vocal and energetic performance from lead singer. I was enamoured. Though told by our host for the night, later, it was a ...

    • Poznan is a city with a lovely little old town dominated by a beautiful Renaissance town hall but, for me, Poznan was all about being reunited with Gary, my husband. I surprised him by meeting him at the airport rather than at the hotel, as he'd thought. It was so great to see him again after a month which is by a long way, the longest we've ever been apart.

... When I thought it was all clear I sneaked in to my own dorm, turned around to close the door and there he was smiling and waving at me. More medicinal alcohol happened then too. When I had got over the shock I realised I was once again in an all male dorm, I wasn't really in the mood for conversation so that was fine. Until, a creepy guy started singing death metal under his voice in the corner. I then realised I had to leave Wroclaw. We ended up in a ...

I think we finally have our travel legs underneath us. Last night we went to sleep at around 8:30. We were so tried from traveling. At one point I woke up during the night thinking we missed breakfast only to discover it was midnight. I was freaking. Diane thought I went mad. At any rate, we awoke and had a very filling breakfast and walked outside of the Stary Rynek. We ran ...

... You will be in time to see I am sure what only happens in one place in the world The clock strikes twelve A bugler blows his bugle from way up in the church tower Music wafting down to the square below, And two goats come out (A bit like a cuckoo clock) And they butt heads twelve times. Was fun to hear the Polish childen all counting how many times the goats had butted heads ...
