We met our local guide, Olga, this morning for a 3 hour walking tour. Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic and is often thought as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, its buildings date back to the 14th century. Lonely Planet says that Prague's beauty is equal to Paris!
It is indeed a beautiful city. Learned so much, saw so much! Don't know where to start!

We then continued our self styled walking tour, looking at Wenceslas Square, the Powder Tower, various churches and into the Jewish Quarter. It was getting late and dark by then, so we looked at the outside area of the Jewish Cemetery, but were all too tired to go inside.
Today we left Austria, and headed for Prague, but first stopped off at Mauthausen concentration camp. It's a terrible thing to see the way that humanity treated each other in the Second World War, but acts as a reminder of how far we've come. The horrors will continue to haunt the camp forever. Mauthausen was a work camp. Many of the buildings are still intact, as well as the walls and barbed wire. The atmosphere was thick with sadness the entire time. There was no guided tour. It ...
