... It drizzled rain right through this 6km long gorge but the sky was clear when we exited the northern end! PM - Had lunch here in Skalni Mlyn, a scungy hot dog with mustard, not a good choice! A bit about these caves; the Punkva caves are an extension of the longest cave system in the Czech Republic whose corridors are over 30km long! ... the reception area is in the inner courtyard in the middle of the building but there is a domed glass roof over what would have been open to the elements! The lifts are on the outside of the building, they are all glass & steel, Lana was a bit queasy going up in it and looking out into nothing!! Went for a wander through the centre of Brno which is only a rats throw from our luxurious Barcelo Brno Palace ...

... castle during World War II. The views of Brno from the upper levels and the tower were spectacular - if I ever get a strong Internet signal on the tablet I will post photos.
