... Food was delicious with a rather rustic wine to go with it. All enjoyed immensely ! Returning to our car, we found that the spot was not as perfect as we thought. Our first Italian parking ticket! We decided that, rather than finding out how to pay the fine (which would have paid for a gourmet meal for two), we place our fate in the hands of the gods and see if the municipality of Pisa is determined enough to hunt us ...

... night before reaching Roscoff ferry terminal, so we headed again down the smallest coastal roads we could find. About every 5 to 10 miles there would be another village to meander through. At about 4pm we rolled into a village called St. Jacut De-La-Mer to look for a place to stay. This town was on the north coast off France. We parked in the center of the village and found the nearest bar for a quick refreshment. We hadn't seen any hotels to this ...

The house wine definitely left something to be desired ...

We called in to Pisa on our way to the Cinque Terre. Didn't really think much of the town of Pisa, but the area where the Leaning Tower is, is well manicured and hundreds of people flock there to try and get their photo holding the tower up.
It's a nice building and the reading the facts about the degree of angle the tower is on (3.99) is quite interesting.

Sorry nothing more to report, i'll try do better next time :) ...

... boys were welcomed over the public address and had a parade with other youth teams on the field at half time.

After the match the boys played some touch on the field. We then headed off to our hotel in Montecini. A very nice town with narrow streets and typical Tuscan architecture.

The boys had some free time after supper to walk around the town and explore.

Tomorrow we are off to ...
