We had decided to take the Ferry up to another village on the lakeside, but actually arrived at the Quay in time for an earlier ferry. So we ended up catching the 9:10 ferry to Urio. As we climbed on board, the rain started, and as we cast off, that rain changed to horizontal, so we abandoned to top deck to go downstairs.

Luckily when we reached Urio the rain let up for a while. The only cafe near the dockside turned out to be a restaurant, despite having "cafe" written ...

A short walk along the lakeside helped us to digest it all, before finishing with a bottle of wine watching the busy Saturday nightlife from our room's ...

... it was time for gelati as we strolled the very pretty town of Bellagio. We returned to the waterline and checked out return times for the ferry before wandering further around the edge of the lake where there is a lovely boardwalk and garden. I found a beautiful scarf at one of the shops along the main walkway. Bellagio and Lake Como in general is famous for silk, so there were lots of shops with beautiful scarves - it ...

Another black snake. Am now keeping track, seeing this is my fourth.

A delightful day so off to follow the "greenway" walk between Tremezzo and Lenno. Quite well signposted, under the escarpment and up through the village of Mezzegra before heading back to the waters edge and Lenno. Managed to get one of the last tickets on the fast boat, which drops us about a km from the apartment, negating the need to go ...
