... with our packs and loads of cardboard. We might have got a few funny looks? In Como we found a remote spot and made a very valiant effort at a cardboard house. I think it may have failed quite miserably, it kind of kept falling over, but we did have cardboard to sleep on which was somewhat comfortable! We had a lot of fun in the Como area. ... period until the checkin opened and we could deposit our cases and move through the formalities to the departure lounge. CDG is a huge airport and with EasyJet being a budget airline, we were stuck in a very old and lonely corner of it - very little in the way of shops etc., but we found a Starbucks and had a coffee and a muffin for breakfast and then endured the boring wait until the plane boarded at 10.30am. Our aircraft was quite new ...

Back on the bus to the hotel in Lake Maggiore (called Grand Dino), back by 4.30pm, rest the out to a restaurant nearby for dinner with a few of the group, Peter had seafood pasta and I had vegetarian cannelloni. Bought bracelets for gifts back home, walked through to the sister hotel ...
