We're on our way to Italy for the next month and stopped for the night in Bellinzona in the Swiss Alps, we are only an half hours drive from Lake Lugano which we'll visit tomorrow. The first snow of the year fell last night, but I don't think anyone here gets to excited about it, as most of the hotels seem to be closed until the 4th December!

Finalmente! At the lounge. Caught 12.20 bus out to Malpensa. Took 10 minutes to walk to the Metro, catch the train and get on the express bus. So far so good. The bus drives through some awful suburbs. Challenge one. Italian chick for Qatar - and it was my fault for being in the wrong line - tried to tell me I couldn't take my 11kg hand luggage on board. ... We watched the Angriest man in Brooklyn which was one of if not the last movie Robin Williams did before his death and knowing how he passed the movie was an eerie peek into what was happening to him.

We finished the opened bottle of wine that night and had take away pizza the size of a house from downstairs for dinner. It was a relatively cruisey sort of day but that’s just what the doctor ordered. Not doctor dick he can **** right off.

... Parc, which was once upon a time a grand mansion. The lady in charge was much more accommodating and congenial than her terse colleague. Even so, it was a shame to miss the chance to visit the two very picturesque and celebrated offshore islands, but our hearts would not have been in it.
