... of the Paleo Frourio, an old Venetian fort. That was pretty cool. Then, late this afternoon we went through the Archaeological Museum. We didn't spend much time here since it was close to closing time and we were all tired from the water park.
That evening though we ate at our first authentic Greek taverna, we found one playing Greek music ...
... pool. (Yes. Laps. What?) And today, day three, not only did I take a spinning class (who the hell AM I?!?!?!?) I spent $70 on makeup. W-H-A-T? Seriously, I don't know what Europe is doing to me. Don't get me wrong, I like it. I like the heck out of it. But sometimes I just look in the mirror and laugh at myself and what I'm doing. Oh. And. I found out that I maybe do like red onions after all. I can not tell you the number of times I gagged like a 3-year-old when I'd see ...
Corfu Town, Ionian Islands, Greece josiezim... seeing and pick up the clean clothes on the way home – the laundry he took us to was closed so it looked like we would smell until the end of the cruise. He dropped us at the Acropolis - it was very hot, crowded and commercialised. However a nostalgic moment happened for Chris as he remembered sitting on the steps of the Pantheon when he was five years old, hence was disappointed that it was all now roped off and so much of it was covered in ...
Corfu Town, Ionian Islands, Greece sewtersojourns... Everyone on the boat was being sick in the toilets in the sick bags it was vile and even the staff on the boat were at it. Anyways was looking at Ian and he had gone a funny colour next minute he grabbed the sick bag and was really ill. I could not help it but was laughing while I was rubbing his back but the noices where making me and Katy ill couldnt look at him. We finally docked at Bari a whole 14 hours later and I swear I am never ever doing a boat ride like that again.
Corfu Town, Ionian Islands, Greece traceybelle... they spend a lot of time relaxing, because they live on an island. I have only one dislike. The water was too cold and dirty for my taste, but there are a lot of swimming pools around, so I didn't need to swim in the open. This journey was a fun journey and I will never forget it.
Corfu Town, Ionian Islands, Greece indianabones... brought it and asked them if she would let her know the next time it was near America so she could get a cheap flight to Australia, classic! its unbelivable how some people are! Anyway I managed to get on the bus and the journey was really beatiful passing through windy roads and big mountains with cliffs surronding us and blue rivers passing through underneath. The scenery was really amazing. I must admit I am really liking Albania it is such a nice place ...
Sarande, Albania richardcowley... the joke)
-the first substantial misunderstading of a whasname
Smitty: Whasname (Jess) has a boyfriend
Bosh [assuming Whasname was L-Bow]: Ah ****...
-fatty nicknamed Rums by Bosh
-girls becoming legitimately concerned about Smitty's well being, but him remaining more worried about theirs
-Smitty being placed on injured reserve after quitting mid-round after failing repeatedly to flip his cup (hero Jess covers for him ...
... can see has a mosaic floor which the Albanians covered with sand and dirt to preserve. In the pictures you will see a circle of columns with a baptismal bath in the center. Paul risked life and limb to photograph this never before seen by modern man "abysmal baptismal" as it was in a forbidden area with a large DO NOT ENTER sign which Paul immediately ignored with Jim on his heels. Upon leaving the ruins we barely made it back to Saranda due to the congestion ...
Sarande, Albania jimandlana... a pair of cat-like ears atop a pair of glowing yellow eyes within striking distance of my right arm. I jumped up in shock and the creature disappeared silently through the grilles on the window and in the blink of an eye. "What's going on ?", Michelle asked, alarmed at my sudden spasmodic movement but still half-asleep. "There's a cat in the room", I said. "Chivers", Michelle sighed as she rolled over and went back to sleep. I lay in bed, my mind spinning, thinking "Was there really anything there ?".
