      Day 1: Crossing the Rubicon

... crossing a stream. What? Really? Yep, it's the Rubicon. Back in 2009 "crossing the Rubicon" in Savegnano was a chance for me to reflect on my life, how far I've gone, and what things I'll never turn back to again. Now, 4 years later I "cross the Rubicon" again--this time as a part of a Superhike... so I have a chance to ponder on how far I've gone since 2009. Back in 2009 my Global Parkbench Tour was just 2 years old. I was still working out ...

Quite a cool morning as we walked up to the first fort. This was ...

... We pulled off the autostrada for a coffee and a croissant for those who wanted - and was served by an Italian speaking Chinese (seemed out of place). Every little place and one horse town has a very good coffee machine we have found in Italy. San Marino is certainly a jewel to visit! It is situated on the Italian Peninsula on the NE side of the Apennines Mountains. It is 61 km2. It is the wealthiest country in the world in terms of GDP (per capita). We caught ...

... I'm getting pretty ****** off with the lack of information/consultation.

In the event it's my navi that has a nearby B&B logged. So I am invited to lead the way.
The first location doesn't seem to exist. I find another B&B nearby, down a dark lane. The other two have turned round and are accelerating away. I chase them and they finally pull ...
