... crossing a stream. What? Really? Yep, it's the Rubicon. Back in 2009 "crossing the Rubicon" in Savegnano was a chance for me to reflect on my life, how far I've gone, and what things I'll never turn back to again. Now, 4 years later I "cross the Rubicon" again--this time as a part of a Superhike... so I have a chance to ponder on how far I've gone since 2009. Back in 2009 my Global Parkbench Tour was just 2 years old. I was still working out ...
... the background and people in medieval costume running around. Turns out a Japanese tv show was filming that day. If only I brought my medieval garb I could have been in extra in some Japanese tv show. The day was pretty much sent walking around the small city and taking in the views. Very quite except.....for the wind. All in all a very enjoyable day.

Content with our meal and ready to burn off some calories, we headed back to our B&B. We both thought this was a very memorable day and one we thoroughly enjoyed!
Just a couple of pictures today.
... streets in the old town area. Prices were better than Verona or Bellagio but still spends. Kathy is holding out for Spain.
Having walked for the entire afternoon, we took a break to people watch and enjoy some of the famous food of the region. We enjoyed some seafood tonight as Ravenna is on the Adriatic Coast and the seafood is excellent. We finally returned to our room about 9:30 after a very long but enjoyable day.
