... until Video Girl arrived looking very chic with her new European do.

They decided to take advantage of their terrace and enjoy the views of Bellagio and Lake Como, but before returning to the hotel they purchased some local cheeses and salami to eat on their balcony as they watched the sun set over Lake Como.

We arrived in Milan for a short stopover on our way out of Italy, it being roughly four hours from Pisa and four hours from Geneva.

When we got off the train we were nearly deafened by some kind of open air disco operating from the back of a lorry in the station square. This made our unsuccessful attempts to track down the bus to our hostel terribly relaxing. In the end we gave up and used the metro and surface trains, which ...
