So well I on my way to Bremen I had a 2 hour stop in Koblentz and it was 11 at night. I wish I could say I went and partied hard but I didn't. I tried, I followed some spot lights in the sky but those were to far to walk to so I just walked around a few blocks and found a dinner/bar and had a few ...

... middle of town. So amazing and I see why it was highly recommended in the travel book. The pictures and movies I have do it no justice. Yet after I arrived at Koblenz I had to switch trains for Trier and then traveled down the Mosel to Trier and the Mosel River was just as beautiful with many more vineyards and rolling hills. I really love traveling by train.

... walking around. So I walked up to the castle on the hill above town. I took a tour and actually enjoyed this castle a lot better than Burg Katz. The view of the Mosel from there was amazing, and there was more to see inside. There was a cool mermaid chandelier in one of the rooms, and the legend was that if you touched its belly and made a wish, it would come true (so I did, of course).

... 8217;t much time to take in all the castles because there were so many of them. But going from St. Goar to Koblenz, the castles were more spread apart. So I actually had time to sit and relax in between, enjoying the scenery.

So when we were almost there I heard an announcement in German that I assumed was next stop Wurzburg (because I heard blah blah blah "Wurzburg" blah blah blah). It is obvious that with such a narrow valley, the explosions of a fireworks result in a multitude of echoes which is like having a fireworks event in the Grand Canyon.

On both sides of the river near St. Goars there are two fortresses, which were used to stage the fireworks. Also a platform in the middle of the river was used to shoot the fireworks ...
