It is Friday morning and we wake up early for some reason, it is dark outside our windows but also cement walls are facing our cabin windows, and river water is being pumped. We wake up in a lock. Good thing we knew in the beginning that the level of the Rhine drops as you go north. But we are in the Moselle. ... of teenagers, screaming… banging on doors and walls… playing music… it was not nice.

We then tried to go to the bathroom and we were locked in. After about 10-20 minutes we got it open but lock was stuck. We got the receptionist to come and fix it. He literally took the whole lock apart, banged it with a hammer and it was better.

Not sure for how long.
