... behind us and befriended a girl from the States. She had been traveling for six months and planned to be in Breda before departing Europe. As it turned out, she was also in our pub crawl group!

We had a great time that night and happened to also meet up with a family from New Zealand who were advertising the Gingergella Ginger Ale! They told me where to meet them the next day to get a shirt and I even posed for ...

Hi everyone! We had a pretty uneventful trip by train and plane other than a long wait to get on the plane in Marseille, but we got here safe and sound, and our cousins Stanley and Corrie were there waiting for us when we got off the plane. (New country, new name for Jean. You can call him Jan now which is pronounced "Yahn.") Jan had never met them before, but they made him feel welcome immediately.

... on every corner. After making our purchase we tootled down the street on our bikes to buy dinner and beers and finally felt like we could celebrate our purchase.

Exhausted, and still with necessities such as gas, water and working out how to get diesel into the tank, Tuesday drew to a close and we snuggled down with clean sheets (yay) for the night in Bunnik.
