One thing you will notice if you decide to try Costa Rica and visit different province is the change in scenery, temperature. We started our Drive to the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. once again...the dusty dirt road went on for awhile...but eventually paved roads started to make them selves available. If you do plan on Driving..... Stick to major …
... the turtle was super, SUPER dead. As in it had no face. It was probably hit by a boat motor, sadness :( I got to the shop and we got all the gear together and then Guayo and I took it all to the boat. We didn't set up all of their gear because its all of the customers own stuff and we thought they would probably want to do their own equipment. This was pretty helpful to be fair as there was a lot if stuff and I'm always worried I'm going to break someone's stuff! On the way ...
... as the rain. Once I get in then James does, then Amanda, and then Will. We are all in treading water and the rain finally starts to let up. James asks if anyone wants to swim to the other side of the lagoon and and I tell him that if he does then I will have to too. So the two of us go for it. This was an awesome tour for the price. You got to drive your own ATV at least 30 minutes each way along the beach dirt roads and even highways through town.
Then arrived at the zip line place for 12 fabulous zip lines. I even had the opportunity to go upside down and superman on the zip lines. It was so awesome.
At the end of the zip line tour it ended at the monkey ...

None of the A.M. Volunteers were there. Several of the local children came up and gave us hugs.
Wedneday at 4:00 he's going to have Ash Wednesday services and we'll try to go.
Next Sunday we plan to ride the bus farther, to Santa Cruz. Surfing lessons and canopy hikes just don't appeal to us. We're the grandparents in this soujourn.
How has this hotel rated in the past?
Even though the area was fairly nice, just across from the beach and a bar next door and some little food places we got a room that had no AC and it was ridiculously HOT. I mean it was suffocating and the Ceiling Fan did nothing to help. I went outside late at night as it was slightly cooler. I had to shower several time during the night to keep cool. Sleep was must unrestful. The hotel did try to keep its rooms clean and I would not complain on that part. The restaurant/bar was also nice...expensive but nice to sit and relax. If you stay...get a Room with AC. It would have been much better if we did.
