This is a less expensive hotel on the beach of Brasilito. We went for supper, it was ok - a smidgen less cost than other places we had eaten but definitely not as good.

We each had a drink, guacamole, Roger had chicken, the girls had fish and chips, I had 2 chicken skewers. It was $32,000 Colones = $59 USD.

Even though the area was fairly nice, just across from the beach and a bar next door and some little food places we got a room that had no AC and it was ridiculously HOT. I mean it was suffocating and the Ceiling Fan did nothing to help. I went outside late at night as it was slightly cooler. I had to shower several time during the night to keep cool. Sleep was must unrestful. The hotel did try to keep its rooms clean and I would not complain on that part. The restaurant/bar was also nice...expensive but nice to sit and relax. If you stay...get a Room with AC. It would have been much better if we did.

We spent the day exploring the area in Brasilto, Playa Flamingo, Playa Potrero. I think you definitely need a vehicle to go out and exploring. We are also interested in either living here full time or part time. Our definitely favourite area is Playa Flamingo, it appeared this was the highest concentration of people/tourists in the area. It took us …

We all rode the bus together. About 2.5 hours into the trip Lucy and I said goodbye to Shannon who is headed for the rain forests of Monteverde. I will surely miss her! I wish her the best and can hopefully bump into her one of these weekends, if I'm ...

... for the Catalina island trip and I still had it in my locker. I had decided to take it on the night dive because I though I might be able to get some cool photos/might see stuff I never usually see. I did all of the pre-dive checks with it and it worked fine. I got it under the water and it wouldn't turn on but there was no water in it and no bubbles so I just thought it had run out of battery. I got back on the boat and found that there was a ...

Kim's favorite cat was a puma named Bruno who cleaned himself and purred up against the fence where you could perhaps touch him. He really did look like he wanted petting, or maybe that how he tricks people into feeding him their fingers. We talked with a family who had been their a few times before and Bruno liked to "play" with the little girl by hiding in ...

This was an awesome tour for the price. You got to drive your own ATV at least 30 minutes each way along the beach dirt roads and even highways through town.

Then arrived at the zip line place for 12 fabulous zip lines. I even had the opportunity to go upside down and superman on the zip lines. It was so awesome.

At the end of the zip line tour it ended at the monkey ...
