Even though the area was fairly nice, just across from the beach and a bar next door and some little food places we got a room that had no AC and it was ridiculously HOT. I mean it was suffocating and the Ceiling Fan did nothing to help. I went outside late at night as it was slightly cooler. I had to shower several time during the night to keep cool. Sleep was must unrestful. The hotel did try to keep its rooms clean and I would not complain on that part. The restaurant/bar was also nice...expensive but nice to sit and relax. If you stay...get a Room with AC. It would have been much better if we did.

... head (picture below). We exited our bay after 30 minutes and headed to a bay north of Playa Panama and around Peninsula Papagayo. The crew had a very large cooler full of drinks and brought some Imperial Lights, a local beer, up to the front of the boat for us.

We pulled into a secluded bay with a deserted beach for our first stop. Looking out onto the beach, there was nobody! We would have this beach all to ourselves for a whole hour. Erick and Frenchy gave us ...

... it was over. In the interests of not losing our cameras, we didn’t take them along, so the only picture is of the two of us immediately before setting out. I was a bit nervous getting started, but quickly loved it. I think the freakiest was when I was given the opportunity to hang upside down – not holding on to anything, feet above my head, supported only by the webbing around my waist and carabineers. We got a lot of amazing views of the bay ...

... hunt down and hug the owner of my site for making my life so much easier! Lee also came back today with his girlfriend to get his stuff and say goodbye, it feels like ages since he's been gone but it's only been a few days. I've only been here just over two weeks but it feels like so much longer. Still have so much more time here which is awesome, just wish it wasn't so bloody hot! Day 17: It's my day off, oh yeah! I had some errands to run as usual, you don't really get ...

This was an awesome tour for the price. You got to drive your own ATV at least 30 minutes each way along the beach dirt roads and even highways through town.

Then arrived at the zip line place for 12 fabulous zip lines. I even had the opportunity to go upside down and superman on the zip lines. It was so awesome.

At the end of the zip line tour it ended at the monkey ...

Day Trip to Playa Del Coco

... The beach was a bit more man made but still amazing regardless. Elly ran down the beach while Moe and I laid down while listening to the waves break & the local kids play. The sunsets are just as mesmerizing as Tamarindo! We decided to stay and have dinner in town at a place called Beach Bums... Had some more nachos and calamari + shrimp... Yum! I'm now addicted to avocado! We drove the dark roads back to home,.. Along the way we saw a local soccer game going on ...
