This is a less expensive hotel on the beach of Brasilito. We went for supper, it was ok - a smidgen less cost than other places we had eaten but definitely not as good.

We each had a drink, guacamole, Roger had chicken, the girls had fish and chips, I had 2 chicken skewers. It was $32,000 Colones = $59 USD.

Even though the area was fairly nice, just across from the beach and a bar next door and some little food places we got a room that had no AC and it was ridiculously HOT. I mean it was suffocating and the Ceiling Fan did nothing to help. I went outside late at night as it was slightly cooler. I had to shower several time during the night to keep cool. Sleep was must unrestful. The hotel did try to keep its rooms clean and I would not complain on that part. The restaurant/bar was also nice...expensive but nice to sit and relax. If you stay...get a Room with AC. It would have been much better if we did.

We spent the day exploring the area in Brasilto, Playa Flamingo, Playa Potrero. I think you definitely need a vehicle to go out and exploring. We are also interested in either living here full time or part time. Our definitely favourite area is Playa Flamingo, it appeared this was the highest concentration of people/tourists in the area. It took us …

... so it was able to flip and force itself, helping us to move it quicker. One last big wave came and with an almightily shove we'd done it. We saved a dolphin! Wet up to our chests we soldiered on patrolling as we only had another 300m of the beach left. Reaching the end we turned around only to see something, again moving on the wave line. It was the dolphin, again! Of course we did the same, but it took us a while longer as some of the big waves had such a strong undercurrent it took ...

Afterwards, we got a very delicious dinner at the restaurant and I had fish (Lauren) and I had a hamburger (Katelyn) and we had these AMAZING Iced Fruit Punch drinks!!!!!! (Lauren REALLY liked those!) And now we are back at the cabinas very exhausted after a good, *********g day's work. Tomorrow we are in for a ...

... sarcastically in your head. That was me. I started putting my wetsuit on even though I was still feeling ill and then I was like whoa hold on there buddy. My fins are FOUR sizes to big. Do you want me to take 4 hours? Haha. Just no, no, no all round. Thankfully I didn't have to do it, because it would have been ridiculous and I want to do good in it, not ****. Which is what would have happened if I was wearing the wrong fins. I probably would have ended up just giving ...

... ago. They’re experts at traveling cheaply, and this time was no exception. They have a phenomenal little place only a few minutes from the beach. It’s always fun to hang out with fellow travel-minded witnesses! There is a small congregation of mostly gringos in Coco, and since this is the tourist season, there were many visitors from Italy, US Bethel, Canada, and all over the states. There are several young people who live there and ...
