... their steak price was $40 but that was because their minimum is 1 kg. Thank the Lord we found the 600g lunch option! We are meeting again for our last meal together at 9:00 tomorrow downstairs. Sue and Phil leave just after 10 to go to their villa in Panicale. I have to check out by 11 but can leave my bags here. I'm going to have a look around and then start the homeward journey at 4pm from the station. It has been a wonderful trip but I am really looking forward to getting ...

After a really fresh pastry from the corner cafe bar, we headed out to the Mercato Centrale for some shopping therapy and fresh pasta to cook for supper. It was quite an experience, especially for Chef Mark! Didn't think we could show him much new...but cow innerds for sale to eat almost did him in. We got some chianti, ...

... are like this, even in Italy. I bravely ventured forth this morning with my umbrella. I am from Portland after all. I can handle a little rain! I checked out Santo Spirito church and visited the Brancacci Chapel. Still raining. I found a cafe and sat with a macchiato and pastry and read my book for awhile. Still raining. I decided to get a sandwich and salad to-go and head back to my room for awhile. ...
