      After a tiring day yesterday in Venice David de died to spend the day on board but as we had not visited Sibenik before I took myself into the old town for a wander and I wasn't disappointed! The walk from the ships berth took about 20 minutes not a very interesting walk as there was the construction of a sea defence wall with the loud pile driver but once passed the hum drum of the workers the old town came into sight with a wide esplanade, several yachts ...

      I only wish I had taken more pictures of the food and our hosts but I'm always reluctant to be too invasive. I also found that once the food came I was too involved in eating to be inclined to take a lot of pictures. Hey, it was like being in a big family - don't wait or you'll be looking at the bottom of the plate!
