... Michelangelo, which is on the top of a hill and overlooks the entirety of Florence across the river. My God, was it beautiful. A replica (one of 2 in town) sits where it was today.  No pictures allowed, but of course I took a few and  I didn't get caught this time! ... was in the glass elevator with Mr. Wonka himself overlooking the city. The scenery was just so pretty. The red-topped roofs spread for miles and the mountains and hills surrounding the city were just mesmerizing. I am so glad I decided to do it.
