We're now at 170 degrees longitude and headed toward the International Date Line, where we lose a day. We over-nighted in Bora Bora, many crew members went ashore to enjoy a night on the beach or a stay in one of the grass hut hotel accommodations.

Paul woke me up this morning with what sounded like a voice of panic. I thought for certain the Buttercup had drifted during the night. Paul, however, wanted to show me a beautiful sunrise. After the color died I promptly went back to sleep. I was later awakened by the smell of coffee. Gradually, all got up and had breakfast.
