We got to the tour station early so we decided to go walk around a little, and ended up in a little breakfast cafe. We ordered some coffees, and dad and I ordered "Dutch caramel waffles." They rent space for the day shift (80 euros) or night shift (150 euros) and it includes a display window (or really just a glass door), a bed (either in the room or in a separate room), curtains, condoms, Gatorade, and security. They stand in the door in lingerie and wait for customers, sometimes opening ...

... Dutch man and you could tell that by his long blonde hair and height. He seemed to know the city inside out and gave us a history lesson for 3 hours which I really enjoyed but poor Eli was struggling by the end!! We learnt something we didn't know when he told us that New York or New Amsterdam as it was known was bought for $24, imagine that, nowadays you couldn't even get a Starbucks and a brownie for that! Due to its Dutch roots, lots of places in New York actually derive ...
