    ... since Today we travelled a short way by bus to the local beach. Very nice beaches full of families with restuarants right on the sand. Just a pity that woman here in France are not very modest especially with this being the more family friendly area. Anyway one of the boys (unnamed) made sure his thoughts were known - I wonder if he will feel the same in a few years time! The water was warm although not as warn as Greece.     Bardol is even more popular than Sanary. It's really hot and the pocket-sized beaches are crowded. Still, the water looks so inviting we take the opportunity to act like locals and paddle in the clear Mediterranean. It's tempting to just stay here forever with the tepid water swirling around our ankles, but then we'd miss tonight's concert at the ship. It features a guy who pretends to be Michael Buble. ...

    ... than buying a camera – No! Cameras.

    So we picked our way around the old trawlers and new sports boats while watching the fishermen preparing for the next day's catch. We meandered past the deli and listened to locals ordering fromage and pate. We stood outside the bakery and breathed deeply of the bready vapours. It was horrible; before long we were back at the ship and ready for lunch - half the day wasted!
