Public transportation in Italy is phenomenal. You really could live here without a car. We decided to take the FrecciaRossa (high speed) from Bologna to Bari. ... a cheese tray(parmesan, gorgonzola, etc). and salumi--mixed cold cuts: salami, the prosciutto. And the bread---oh, the bread! We couldn't call it a day without some gelatto to top ourselves off!

... walked about 40 minutes to get to the stop. The bus was not stopping at the main Piazza because they are setting up for a Chocolate Festival next week.
