    Makarska is a relatively new little town, built for tourists, and doesn't have the old town charm of Dubrovnik or Korčula. To us though, it is still a beautiful little town, with a good beach and some stunning views.     ... pretty pleased that I never fell. One of the funnier things to watch was a curved ramp that went up, leveled briefly and then continued down. At one point Bird Nick called out to the other side to clear room for him as he may just go straight over the top. He only made it 2 steps before sliding defeated back down the ramp.
