From Zurich we made it to Luzern in a 45 minute train ride. We saw the chapel bridge and the Lion of Luzern. We had lunch at a nice cafe along the river and ate pasta while watching swams frolic in the water. It was a overcast day but we were all still in amazement of the surrounding mountains - the snow-covered Swiss Alps surrounded us on all four sides. Amazing!

Absolutely perfect weather. Train from Spiez to Lauterbrunnen. Walked along the road thru stunning valley. High, sheer cliffs, myriad of cascades, farms. Sky cloudless.
