Too good!
Had a great day - and just have a few minutes to upload the last of the photos before we head off tomorrow.
Today we left Sibiu,travelling to Brasov - where we saw a fortified church in Prejmer, toured Brasov, visited Rasnov citadel before heading to the heart of the Carpathian Mountains at Moeciu.
Tomorrow we see Bran Castle, then Peles Castle, then onto Bucharest airport for departure at 5pm for long haul back to Australia.

Sighisoara to Sibiu
After spending the night in a hotel that was over 300 years old, we explored the beautiful UNSECO world heritage walled township of Sighisoara. We climbed the clock tower, walked up the covered stairs and visited the old Hill Church, then got in the car and headed to Biertan to explore the fortified church.

Sibiu -another lovely old town in Transylvania
... and definitely not so good when the lemon goes “off” a couple of days later. From here he can see the markets and the river, so walks all the way to the bridge for photos of the river and back to the old city. Heads into the market for a kilo of cherries for 10 Lei, then back to the room to pig out. Take sunset photos before the evening promenade for food, and night photos of the illuminated buildings, including the Council Tower and the Town Hall. ...

Tour of Churches – Désfalva
... should be noted that Kiss László came along even though he worked all night two nights in a row, plus spent the day with us. László is basically president of the parish board and works in the psychiatric ward of the Marosvásárhely general hospital. Livia asked him how long he could keep this pace up and he just replied that this was a special occasion. Yeesh.
