    ... It is possible our driver should have known, as it just didn't happen yesterday, but he drops us off, and directs us along what is left of the footpaths, and we turn right at the next block. The street has a fair climb, the footpaths a lot of stairs, so we use the road, pass under what we find is the Bridge of Lies on our hotel instruction sheet, and find the Piata Mica but can't find the “Big Red Building”.     Our last days in Sighisoara were spent with my cousin Adi from Lugoj and his girlfriend, Oana. My cousin Maria and her husband Marius also paid us a visit, on Wednesday, since they were our ride to Sibiu the following Thursday morning.     ... beliefs in the "living ghosts," which sounded just like poltergeists, and "dead ghosts," which were much more malevolent. He also pointed out that Transylvanians don't actually believe in vampires - "but the Slavs do!" I arrived at the pension at 11 PM and, much to my surprise, the proprietress of the place was still up and waiting to feed me dinner! Oops! To be polite, I had some soup, but quickly retired after that for some crucial rest.
