The flight is uneventful and due to their adding a little time to the expected flight time we arrive slightly ahead of schedule to the sounds of more trumpets and self-congratulations.

... br> I had read of another Polish snack that I wanted to try, pierogi, small stuffed pancake/pasty type morsels that could be eaten as a starter or as a main. The place we had stopped at had them on their menu so we shared a plate and once again, although they were OK I wont be rushing back for more. Does everything in Poland come with cabbage ?!
We call it a night about midnight leaving the old square still full with the ravages of last night taking their toll.

... find a street market selling mainly fruit and vegetables. Everything looks pretty good and for some reason I am surprised to see blackberries for sale here. Walking on we end up at the Franciscan Church so we start our trip with a bit of religion and culture ... I am sure this wont last !! Church is garishly over decorated for my tastes and our visit is brief to say the least.

Arrived in Poznan-easy leg of tour-only 3 hours from Berlin. Playing amazing heritage listed venue above vegan cafe-lasagne for lunch/dinner-so fulfilling. Walked into surreal double bass and dance performance. Except I thought the dancer was an old drunkard who was annoying the musician. Nope he was part of the act. seriously amazing venue. 1930s cinema. Needed a bunch more people to soak ...
