... all the red/orange tori. The entire complex consists of 5 shrines that sprawl across the wooded slopes of Inari-yama. One of the pathways lined with the red tori is 4 km up the mountain! ... too cute. Or the fact that when every ticket checker or cart vendor leaves your train carriage, they turn around and bow to all the passengers in the car before turning around again and leaving. In one instance, a very pretty cart woman did her bow, but then rather than turning around, she kept her fixed smile toward the passengers until the train door closed on her standing there. It was quite humorous, and a few others noticed it too.
