... lunch, between storms, we managed 2 geocaches and then on the way back from the last one, I almost stepped on a snake. It turns out the snake was hopelessly stuck in a fishing net. Dex decided to save it and I reluctantly helped. With a good bit of difficulty and fear, we finally freed the snake. I just hope the good deed will come in handy some day if we encounter another less helpless snake!
