... Columbus! There is a lift inside that holds three people and although very modern now, was originally made of wood and used a water pulley system to move building material and lookout people to the top of the monument. From the top you have yet another view of the wonderful city of Barcelona.

... at some eighteen year old waiter something in Greek which must have been ‘Get that table ready! These foreigners are hungry!’ and it was done. Then, she yelled at us ‘Go, go, your table is ready.’ I like her leadership style – based solidly on delegation. I would definitely recommend it, aside from Barcelona's reputation for the arts, it is also a city that has an incredibly rich history. As well as wonderfully gruesome stories, that is, if you're into that kind of thing. ...
