... traveled around the lake, visit many attractions, eat in nice restaurants. Most of the attraction was for kids, but we also enjoy all of them.
It were woodland, boats, caves, restaurants, swans, national parks, terminal pools, horses, zoo, bicycles, cafe, mountains..

It is only with the promise of good weather that I head out to Balaton. I could easily stay in Budapest. Getting off the train at Revfulop, it feels like the wrong decision. Crossed the border into Hungary today.

First stop is the party town Siofok which lies on the shore of Eastern Europe's largest freshwater lake at over 100km Sq. The lake is where all of Hungary spend their summers as they don't have any beaches. There are many towns around the lake and each seems to target or cater to a specific tourist.
