On the hour something happens where doors open, skeletons pull on rope and things slowly rotate and spin. Incredible technology for the time in which it was created and erected. At one time it was ot working for about a hundred years and in that time Prague suffered from warfare and the Black Plague - it is believed that if ever the clock stops again, more hard times will be experpienced by those living in Prague.
