... area, caught a tram into town then walked to a random bar which was **** because it was downstairs and small and **** so we all went back up and to the one across the road which was so much better and you could actually see and sit and it was fun. ... so much. It looked as eastern bloc on the inside as well as the outside. Wires were poking out of the walls, things were crumbling.....it had a real "behind the iron curtain" feel to it! A lot of things in that part of town were like that. It wasn't a tourist area and some things are still transitioning......while others have transitioned so far into capitalism they aren't ever coming back.

Feeling much better and ready to conquer the day. Made much better use of the buffet breakfast this morning with eggs, sausages, toast, cereal and coffee. Headed into town to explore more of old town and a bit of the new town also, even though there wasn't much going on there.
