... and my Great Grandparents grew up. It was the best trip ever I had such an amazing time! Words cannot describe how I felt there, seeing my heritage and reconnecting with family.

Took a side trip to Prague. Amazing city, one of my favorites now! Loved it.

Now I'm in Munich til Monday. It's great here...beautiful sights and delicious beer! I'm in heaven haha

... be about six of them here. The distance turned out to be modest so I was approaching Passau around 1pm. The hills have now closed in and the Danube is running in a clear valley. I decided to head for the hostel to be sure of the food position. Followed the signs to the bottom of a steep hill; this is only another castle hostel. The tour was a self guided tour but they pre-book all the hotel rooms and provided a map, and every morning they would pick up our luggage and take it to the next hotel. ... The tourguide did tell us some very interesting things about Salzburg and the Von Trapp family too, as well as some delightful little discrepancies in the film. For example, the hill Maria is running on in the opening scenes to the film is actuallly 12km away from the convent!
