... a flower and fruit market, and a Franciscan monastery that houses a sea shell collection featuring a giant clam shell.

So yes, there is a monastery, little square, few old, interesting buildings, two seafront promenades that extent towards the wide beaches and many hotels, resorts, shops and restaurants. The sun is hot, the breeze cool, the water clean, the beaches busy, the mountains view everywhere, cafes and restaurant open all ...

... the next stop on our days travels, Lovrecina, a small sandy beach, the only sandy beach on Brac. We had been told it was sandy inside and outside, but we could see that sand had been brought in. A good idea for the local family running the place, they have a cafe, plenty of parking, a volleyball court and the beach. There is one B&B on the property too, looked very nice. We had a snack at cafe, local olives, cheese & ...

A cruisey day of sailing. Went into Stari Grad and then Milna then moored at Bobovisca. The crew had a good time. Quite often we were hanging over and of course getting sprayed with water but once moored at our special island again we had a great swim and then chilled out on the yacht for the last night. Went on the island and found some great buildings to ...
