... hated the Eiffel Tower, but ate frequently at the restaurant, and when asked why he stated "because it is the only place from which I cannot see it". You would have to live in this place to not have to look at it. I couldn't even take a picture of it!

... weight though, lost part of my thumb to a vegetable peeler and living off fruit and vegetables whilst working like a peasant. Dug trenches and fitted sheets down with bricks earlier in the baking sun. Had my first paddy with Fleur when she told me to keep the sheet closer to the ground as it was essentially becoming a wind sock. On sale one of these grandfather clocks covered in gold was on sale 50% off for €22000.

The he shops were quiet as the Russians haven't come on holiday .

Oh oh the beer the best ! Pilsner was invented here and is sooooo good . Good food David loved the pig shanks , the special Czech duck and dumpling . Me I am trying to keep to salad so I don't look like a dumpling .

... designer label! The whole town was spotlessly beautiful and gleamed. We were only there for two hours so we wandered the streets for a little while, had lunch, and peeked inside one of the expensive hotel lobbys. It was a nice break from the long drive. The following day we were told that we would be going horse-riding which was a welcome surprise. Most of us had not ridden horses before so it was a fun experience.
