... breakfast! Or ever really! Before all the hunters could come out and admire their colleagues work we decided to head out. I still don’t understand how people can be so proud of luring an animal into an open space with food and then shooting it in the head. I mean if you wrestled it to the floor with your bare hands then good for you….if the dear had lasers for eyes then good for you….but seriously…you just shot an unknowing dear in ...

in karlovy vary we buy the teeniest tiniest cup and try some water from every fountain. some taste like blood and we wonder if we have reached dracula country early. oh well, at least we will probably live a few extra years according to the, ah hem, medical advice.
... There is a normal pool here (he shows us on the map) and a pool here with only 30% water from the springs, the rest is normal water. We tell them about our Lake Manitou and the young chap googles the spa and reads about the water and sees in black and white that their town is noted as a place having the same water properties. They think there is a mistake and it should be in Budapest, Hungary where the waters to float in are ...

Trip via HongKong was great - 2 nights and two days of shopping overwhelm and yummy food. We managed to cram in quite a bit pulling a marathon 12 hour day seeing the sights. Jarrad had the benefit of my shopping expertise and made some good purchases!

... then enjoyed a lunch of duck, dumplings and sweet and sour cabbage. I swear Greece and Czech Republic have the best food in the world. I am going to miss it. We will return tomorrow to Amsterdam to connect with our flight home. We are hoping to make the Anne Frank museum if the lines are not too long.
Karlovy Vary, Bohemia, Czech Republic tdennissteel... where we marvelled at the gorgeous mouth-blown and hand made creations and finally realized the beauty and value of the glasses we had received from Mirek's parents. Despite the high cost, we treated ourselves to a set of glasses like the one's they had gotten us years before and will use and enjoy them even more now. Mirek's extremely generous and sweet Aunt, Uncle and cousin also bought us some so we are looking forward to drinking in style from now on ...
Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic polloslibre... craftworks. We spent a day walking through the town center the highlight of which is drinking from the 11 natural hot springs (each said to have it's own medicinal properties, but all of which taste gross just at different temperatures.). The center piece to the hot springs is the Hlavni Vridlo(main spring) which is more like a gyser that shoots some 9 meters into the air. K.V. also is the home of the spa wafer or Oplatky ...

Cheb, Bohemia, Czech Republic ryanislost... mountains all around, beautiful buildings and everything but, two hours just for that seems too long. Not to mention our way back was a nightmare!!! We went back to the bus station, where the woman at the ticket post was talking on the phone for about 10' allowing a big line of unhappy travelers to form, before she told us that they are out of tickets!!! Can you believe it?? I guess it's only logical since everyone was leaving Karlovy Vary by the time the sun was setting. So we ...
Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic perl... rowdy fans) from Prague cheering AC Sparta on. They cheered and chanted constantly. They had about 10 different cheers they knew. You can always tell how dedicated a team's fans are by how many cheers they have. My visit to Karlovy Vary is another experience I wish I had company on. It's just not the same by yourself. There are tons of tourists here but very few speaking English. There are more signs in Russian and German than English. The same was true in Plzen. Well, not the ...
