... red wine always soothes the spirit and makes whatever walking to come, a bit more bearable.

We stumbled…umm….walked out and made our way about the little town with a coffee stop to warm up. It was going from cool to cold by the minute. I had the great idea of taking a cab back to the basilica and our hotel, but alas, there was none to be found so before we knew it were well on our way back huffing it up ...

Unfortunately the local police had closed the road for a car race. We used ...

... pavement. The bright side was we had to backtrack past the Cheese Wonderland I reported on yesterday, necessitating another stop. I have included a picture of the Cheese Maiden serving us. Much of our 77 kilometer ride today was through a national park along the ocean. Our terminus was the town of Peschici, which is an old town situated on a point overlooking the sea. Our room has a beautiful view. Dinner ...

... cute animal made from towels. He always greets us with a big smile and calls us by name. Is sounds like "Ana-nita" to me, but I commend him for the effort. His name is, Nestor. But George calls him Ernie, don't ask me why. We are on the 8th deck, which is pretty cool because there are many things on this level. In the middle of the ship there is: the photo gallery, gift shop, jewelry stores, Champagne Charlie' lounge and it overlooks the main ...
