    National Park Visit

    ... park.

However, it was not all in vain. Since it was a not so popular national park ( didn't want to go to places that everyone wanted to go), there weren't too many people/cars around. That's good news for me, I was able to get in some extra time to practice my horrible driving skill, try getting into 1st gear on a hill, try to smoothly get into the 1st and shifting gears on sharp corners. It was actually a lot of fun (because there were no people around).

Tomorrow we will find a place to watch the finish of the TDF and the womens race in the arvo Beforehand we will wander the streets for a bit and decide on what are our must sees.

Today was a tick on the bucket list. To watch a stage of the tour in the Pyrenees mountains . Tick. Isaac and I drove 3 hours down to a stunning village. We wandered a km or so up the climb and claimed a spot under a shady tree. I was most surprised by the size of the caravanne. 150-200 vehicles that proceed the tour by 1 1/2 hours. It is ...

We travelled by car over the Col d'Azet where the Tour the France will be passing in another few days. Already the campervans are claiming their favourite spots along the route. We are not sure what they can do for four days on the side of a road in the middle of nowhere, but I guess the real enthusiasts will think that a small price to pay! The scenery while driving into Luchon was fantastic, but it was dangerous to ...
