... like a place I could call home… But there’s something else about Rimini… This looks like the launching pad for conquering my 29th country, San Marino! All the more reason to consider this town home. Continuing with my little stress relieving day trips, last weekend I went with a few of my friends to San Marino. Although located in Italy, San Marino is technically a separate country. We made one wrong turn on our route at the beginning of the trail but adjusted and found the trail to the sea. We rode about two hours and came to the Adriatic. We found it difficult to get out to the water as beachfront restaurants were all closed and sand was piled quite high creating a break water. We found a small trail and walked our bikes out on the beach to ...

... we are staying at a small B&B with a very comfortable room.

Once settled in, we set out for a tour of the town. Ravenna is well known for very old churches dating back to the 4th century. The churches are well known for the ornate and large scale mosaics. Phenomenal mosaic artwork in all sites we visited. We purchased passes which allowed us entry into most of the well known mosaic locations in Ravenna. ...
