      The Past Catches up!

... was the entry to the notorious Osho Ashram (a very cynical write up in the Lonely Planet's India guide) and on, looking for a tree to hug in the much vaunted Koregaon Park. Unfortunately all the trees were hidden behind large fences and no go signs.

On my return to my digs I was approached by a beggar lady and walked within close proximity to two maroon clad devotees of the Osho Ashram. Both of which I did not react well too: curt language ...

... become! Surely there is more to life than the internet.

But im not going to allow that to get me down. It's my first full day in Pune. I had a great nights sleep and a good breakfast with a very nice attached restaurant.

... had a walk in wardrobe. Pranav came out with the quote of the week "we will need two more maids for the new house because four won't be enough." I don't blame him though, if we could get maids for 30p/hour we would do the same!

We picked up Jinu (Pranav's fiancé) from her parents house on the other side of town and headed for brunch, at Pranav's favourite Sunday place, Arc Asia. For just £11 there was lots of food and free flowing wine, Budweiser and mojito from 1300 ...

... would have taken nearly 5 hours, but catching it early would have saved us a lot of wasted time and lots of money!!!

A few taxi drivers had said we needed to get to Dadar, LP confirmed this. We got a taxi there for 350. From there the driver said we could get a bus 300pp or taxi 1600. To save time we opted for the taxi. When it came to it our driver took us to a man that would take us for 2000. I was furious, it might only be £4 difference ...
