Decided to take a day trip to Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina because it's only a few hours by bus from Dubrovnik. It was a nice ride along the lovely coastline and a nice river delta area full of orange, lime, and fig trees. Bosnia is a mildly eery place, with tensions just below the surface. The next day I was going to take a look around town however something kinda
funny happened. I woke up, rubbed my eye and accidentally rubbed somegrit or what felt like a dozen eyelashes tied in a knot into the back of my eye... nice one.

... tireless mother. The women have converted three extra rooms in their apartment into dorms with 3-5 beds. Gracious hosts (I wonder that they don't tire of constantly having groups of rowdy kids under their roofs) there is always plenty of tea and coffee, and if you hang out in the living room long enough, Mama's sure to come by with a small plate of her excellent cooking for you.
